FRACTIONS
Dividing with a Whole Number
or a Mixed Number
When Fractions and Mixed Numbers are Divided, they
both must be changed to Improper Fractions. The
"Divided By" Fraction is inverted. Next, the Denominators
are Multiplied. Then the Numerators and the Denominators
are Multiplied.
To divide this whole number by this mixed number,
change both the whole number to an improper fraction and
the mixed number to an improper fraction.
